Recreation

There are many recreational opportunities at Shrine Mont.  One of the highlights is the large outdoor swimming pool, that has a gradual entry and fountains for young children, as well as several lap lanes.  Some families enjoy hiking or biking on the many miles of trails- enjoying the views from the top of Great North Mountain.  Other facilities include tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball courts, playing fields, and a pond for wading and fishing.

Other nearby recreational and sightseeing options include Lake Laura, Bryce Ski Resort mountain biking trails, Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and historic New Market.
