Performance Opportunities

There are several opportunities for students to perform at camp:

Final Concerts

Every student at camp performs in the Friday morning concerts. At 9:30 AM the three orchestras perform repertoire that they have worked on during the week, and at 11:00 AM the Final Celebration Concert showcases all of the group repertoire classes as well as a piece performed by all of the chamber institute students.

Chamber Music Recital

Students in the Chamber Music Institute and the chamber music elective classes perform at the Thursday 4:30 recital.

Solo Recitals

All students who have a polished and memorized piece have the option to perform on a solo recital.  Pieces should be 5 minutes or less. (exceptions to this may be approved by the Director). A link to  register for a solo recital will be sent in mid-May, and we will need all recital details by June 1 in order to be scheduled. Solo recitals are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 4:30 and Monday at 7:15.
